Atarazanas in Carmenes del Mar
Atarazanas is a very pretty urbanisation with stunning
panoramic views of La Herradura bay and beautiful mature gardens. Atarazanas
is in the lower part of Carmenes del Mar, which is itself
situated on the rocky headland of Cerro Gordo, right next to the natural
park. This great position gives the houses amazing views while at the same
time being close enough to the sea to hear the waves breaking on the rocks
of La Calaiza beach below. Calaiza is a wonderful secluded
cove that can only be accessed by a rocky path below Carmenes de Mar, making
it a great place for sun-bathing and snorkeling.
Unlike most urbanisations where the houses all look the same, each house
in Atarazanas was individually designed, giving the development
a truly unique and special feel. With automatic gates, a full-time concierge during
the day and a security guard at night, Atarazanas is very
secure.
Leisure facilities of the community include a large swimming pool open
all day long and all year round, and a small children's
pool. The swimming pool area and gardens are maintained in spotless condition
by Gabriel, the full-time gardener/concierge. The community also has two padel
tennis courts and a basketball court.
Atarazanas is a great place to live permanently, and
outside the peak summer weeks you will have the pool and sports facilities
all to yourself. It also makes a fantastic holiday home,
and an ideal place for kids who can play safely within the confines of the
community without you having to worry. This also means the houses have excellent
rental potential.
